Leading this rewarding journey is Adventure Outfitter Mark Mickelson. Mark Mickelson’s fly rod adventures began in 1975 at his families fly fishing ranch in Arizona’s White Mountains. He has spent the last 25 years chasing fish all over Arizona while putting clients on fish. Whether you are a first time angler or an avid angler, we custom tailor each trip to your current skill level and expectations to provide our guests with a fun and memorable day of fly fishing.

We specialize in fly fishing small streams and rivers for wild trout using ultra-light fly rods. Owned by expert guide, casting instructor, and Arizona native Mark Mickelson. Mark was born with a fly rod in his hand and started fly fishing at the age of five.

Your day of adventure will begin in Arizona’s Rim Country or the White Mountains. We offer walk/wade angling on rivers and streams. In addition, we offer trophy still water angling from a drift boat on numerous high mountain lakes. Our guides are Arizona natives and have over 70 years of combined experience fly fishing Arizona’s rivers, streams, and lakes.

Mark Mickelson has been an Arizona fly fishing guide since 1996. He is a fifth-generation Arizona native and has spent his whole life fly fishing Arizona’s waters. Mark’s passion for teaching the sport of fly fishing to others is undeniable.
